In the past year (gulp :-)) I realize I’ve posted some writing of interest to regular readers of this site.
The ScrumAlliance has started publishing the Agile Atlas [update: no longer online]– our definition of Scrum. Those who keep score, yes, this definition agrees with the current Scrum Guide. As part of that it has also started publishing GASPs – Generally Accepted Scrum Practices. I teamed up with Charles Bradley to write User Stories.
Scrum By Example: The Daily Stand-up – another story of Steve and his team as they struggle to make their standup effective.
Promoting Agile in Waterfall Culture: This will probably be the earliest story of Steve and his team. Steve’s VP Shawna is under a lot of pressure to deliver. Steve mentions Scrum and she tells him: “how Scrum is perfect for cowboys and undisciplined teams but it doesn’t work in the real world.” Learn how Steve recovers.
