We’re very proud to announce that Agile Pain Relief is a premiere sponsor of the 2015 Gatineau-Ottawa Agile Tour.
We strongly believe in giving back and helping to grow the Agile community, and Agile Tours are a wonderful opportunity to do so.
This year’s keynote speakers will be Richard Sheridan, author and Founder of Menlo Innovations, and Gil Broza, well-known coach and author of “The Human Side of Agile: How to Help Your Team Deliver”.
In addition, Mark will be a presenter once again, with his new “Beyond Scrum: Building High-Performance Organizations Game” for Managers, ScrumMasters and Product Owners, a follow-up to last year’s High-Performance Teams Game and a valuable tool along with his Scrum Alone is Not Enough series.
Last year you played the High-Performance Team Game and helped create a high-performing Team in your Organization. You were so successful that the Organization has grown around you and your peers. Unfortunately, while growing, some of the magic that you had created before as a single Team has gotten lost.
Last year’s game focused on building high-performance Teams and the tradeoffs between delivering value and improving productivity. This year’s game will focus on building high-performance Organizations, and will explore options for an Organization to understand itself and the current state of the work, and then bring about real, ongoing change.
The game is won, not by producing the most features, but by delighting customers.
We’re excited to see the Game perform and get feedback from the battle testers at GOAT15.
There will be four tracks of four sessions each, with a variety of workshops, experience reports, and talks aimed at all levels from beginner to advanced. That’s a total of 16 sessions to choose from!
The Tech track will cover Continuous Delivery, Root Cause Analysis, TestDriven Development, and Agile Testing. Other sessions will cover Large Scale Scrum, Agile Metrics, Kanban, and what to look for in a good Scrum Master (to name a few). There’ll be many experienced agile practitioners to talk to outside of the sessions, so it’s also a great place to bring your questions!
Full details are available on the https://goagiletour.ca website. Tickets are limited and selling fast, so don’t delay. If you will be in the Gatineau-Ottawa area, we encourage you to come by and take advantage of this professional community and valuable resources. And let us know if you’ll be attending so Mark can say “hi”!
