I think I would go with the Tokina, Sigma often has very different quality in their products due to a bad QA. You can get excellent lenses but you can also get bad ones. I now have a D200 and have noticed a loss in sharpness in the corners. I am still happy with the lens and use it often on my d200 & d2h.
