What’s your favorite Firefox plugin for managing (and generating) many passwords.

I want:

  • To remember just one password.
  • To use my passwords from several computers – preferably without having to plugin my USB key to every machine I use
  • My userid/password filled when I open a page with a login screen
  • Requires as few keystrokes as possible
  • A plugin that is still actively developed so that its likely to live on in future versions of Firefox.

Firefox plugins that I’ve found

  • Magic Password Generator – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/874/
  • Password Hasher – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3282/
  • SecurePassword Generator – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/135/
  • PasswordMaker – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/469/
  • Password Composer – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/670/

BTW Yes I could use a tool Keith Brown’s Password Minder (http://www.pluralsight.com/tools.aspx) – but I’m far too lazy to copy and paste.

Which tool do you use? Why did you choose it?
