Key Tricks in writing for the Web or more lessons learned at BarCamp2 in Ottawa
Make your keypoints in the first paragraph, include your keywords in the title and url. 150 words is all you have to capture your readers attention. Use Overture to research what else people type when they search your keywords. Kristina Mausser and Darlene Moore had a myriad of other suggestions in what I found was the most practical pair of talks (Writing 4 the Web No.0 and Designing Search Engine Friendly Websites) at Ottawa’s BarCamp2 on Saturday. Now if only I could learn how to write headlines for articles like this.
